Nursery Furniture

The nursery is no where close to being presentable, but I thought I'd post some pics of the furniture. Yes, all the clothes you see by the crib are the clothes that Kim is letting us borrow -- just NB and 0-3 month sizes!!! I think I'm going to get some different pull knobs for the dresser, maybe some light pink glass ones. It doesn't look too bad in the picture, but I don't think the black ones look very good.

Celebrity Encounter

Last night at Aaron's softball game, his cousin's wife, Sarah brought her two puppies. We were sitting with the puppies and a girl walked by with a boxer puppy and he acted really interested in Sarah's dogs, so she stopped to let them meet. She thought she knew Sarah, maybe from high school, and they were trying to figure out how (Sarah didn't recognize her at all). She never did figure out how she knew Sarah and left. While we were talking, I realized that I knew how she was -- it was Sharon from last season's Big Brother! How strange! Aaron and I are obsessed with Big Brother and he was upset when I told him because I didn't grill her about the show or introduce him. Poor guy. When she was leaving I saw that she was leaving with her boyfriend, who was also on Big Brother last season, although he was booted the first week and we missed that episode, so I wouldn't have recognized him if she wasn't there. She was very friendly and very petite compared to what I thought she'd look like from watching the show.

You Asked For It

Sorry for not posting pics yesterday. We hurried and took them right before Aaron's softball game and I didn't get a chance to post them before we went to bed after the game. The pic on the top is me at 7 weeks and on the bottom is yesterday at almost 25 weeks.

We Have a Dresser!

Today Nebraska Furniture Mart delivered the dresser for the nursery. The delivery guys were really nice and got it situated where we wanted it in the nursery. After they left, I checked it out only to find out at that the cabinet was missing shelves! I called customer support and they said they'd deliver a replacement part within 2-6 weeks. :( But, about 20 minutes later I got a knock on the door and the delivery guys brought the shelves. Yay!!! So, it is now ready to start putting baby clothes in.

The Camera Is In

I went by Walmart this afternoon and picked up our camera. Sorry for the tease, but it is charging tonight, so no pics until tomorrow. We are also getting the dresser tomorrow, so hopefully we can get a picture of the nursery.
