Portia's Predicting Skills...
are right on! Yep, it is a GIRL!!!! We are so excited. The baby is healthy and right on schedule. She is laying cross-wise with her head on my left side and feet on me right side. At this point she is breech, but the doctor said about half of the babies are at this point. She kept moving around and we could see her stretch out her legs and then bring them up over her head! She also kept waving her hands around her head. It was so amazing to see her! Now, for the shopping to begin!!!
And We're Off
We're heading out to the doctor's office right now. Wish us luck and send some vibes to make sure this little one is in perfect health and gives us a clear shot! Check-in later to hear the update from the appointment!

Aaron Finally Got to Feel It Move!
Yesterday morning after I had breakfast (at 11 - taking advantage of sleeping in while I can!), the baby was moving around a lot, so I had Aaron put his hand on my belly to see if he could feel it. The other times we've tried, it has stopped moving as soon as he puts his hand on my stomach. This time, it moved a couple times, but just light movements and Aaron couldn't feel it, but then there was a big one up really high. I usually feel movements pretty low, so Aaron's hand was lower on my belly. Luckily he has big hands and I have a short waist, so his pinky finger was up high enough that he felt it. I was hoping it would move like that again so he can feel it again, but it didn't. But, at least he finally got to feel it!
In less than 24 hours we can (hopefully) not have to use "it" any longer and can say he or she!!! I feel like a kid waiting for Santa to come!

Less Than 2 Days!!!
Alright, so what is everyone's guess for the baby's gender? We all know Portia is guessing girl, but I don't know what most of the rest of you are guessing.

You Have to Be Kidding!
When I got home from work today my feet were swollen! Ugh! Is that supposed to happen when you're only 19 weeks along? They weren't grotesquely swollen, but a bit puffy none-the-less. I certainly hope that this does not continue or at least waits to continue for a couple more months.
Portia Prediction -- Week 18
So we've not been good lately asking Portia for her predictions and everyone keeps asking me if she's still predicting GIRL. So, I asked her last night by throwing two of Aaron's socks and seeing which one she picked up first. Of course she picked up the one designated for the GIRL guess, so she's still sticking to her guns. I had to hurry and get the socks away from her though because she thought they were a fun new toy and Aaron wouldn't have been too happy if he knew I let her play with them. :)

Camera Update and Faith Prediction
We are still on the search for a new camera, so no pics yet. We are going to try to meet at Best Buy after work to check them out, so hopefully we'll either have a new one or have ordered one by the end of the week.
This weekend we went to visit my family in Osage. I asked my cousin Faith (she's 8) what she thinks I'm having. She first was rubbing my belly and said that she could feel the baby's hand. Oddly enough where she was feeling is the side the baby is on and she did find a spot that is harder than most places, so it probably was the baby. After the belly rubs, she said she thinks it is a girl, but then said, "wait!" and she stuck her finger in my belly button and wiggled it around for a bit, then said "boy" very matter of factly. It was so cute. She then kissed my belly and was on her way to her next adventure.
